Job summary

Two Temple Place is seeking three Duty Managers to support the public opening of the Gathering Rest exhibition in London. You will supervise a team of Gallery Steward Volunteers, ensuring welcoming, safe and accessible operations Tuesday–Sunday, including evenings.

The role is fixed term, part-time (3-4 days one week, 4-5 days the next), January to April 2027, with duties spanning front-of-house and visitor services, coordination with the Culture & Community team, and occasional social media

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Able to work with a diverse range of people.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the building and front-of-house during public opening hours.
• Deliver outstanding visitor service and provide information about the building and exhibition.
• Coordinate and support Gallery Steward volunteers to maintain high visitor service standards.
• Open and close the exhibition and public spaces; ensure safety and wellbeing of visitors and volunteers.
• Assist with shop, events, group visits and social media content.
