Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to support Anchor Housing across Peterborough, Cambridge and East Anglia. You will carry out plastering repairs and additional trades as needed to ensure homes are safe and well maintained.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 plastering, a full UK driving licence with few or no points, and DBS/CSCS considerations. Training and progression opportunities exist within Axis CLC, backed by modern digital systems for efficient work flow.

Qualifications

• Strong plastering skills (NVQ Level 2)
• Working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
• Experience working in tenanted properties
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Confident using PDA/mobile job systems
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum (or equivalent)
• Full UK manual driving licence
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Asbestos Awareness certificate
• CSCS card preferred (training can be provided)
• DBS check (or willingness to undergo)
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Professional, customer-focused approach

The Role

We are recruiting several experienced and versatile Multi-Trade Operatives to join our Anchor Contract team, covering Peterborough, Cambridge and East Anglia, supporting our long-term partnership with Anchor Housing, one of the UK’s largest and most respected housing providers.

In this role, you’ll deliver responsive repairs and maintenance across a wide portfolio of homes, ensuring residents live in properties that are safe, comfortable and well maintained. You’ll be supported by modern digital systems that help keep work flowing efficiently and enable you to deliver a first-class service.
