Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi Trader for a reactive maintenance role across Benfleet and Thurrock social housing properties. The role covers repairs and maintenance within occupied homes, requiring versatility across carpentry, basic plumbing and wet trades.

A strong focus on quality, safety and customer service is essential. Offering £22 per hour CIS with van and fuel card provided, the position requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader or Multi Skilled Operative within reactive maintenance.
• Previous experience working within social housing or occupied properties.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.
• Complete works across multiple trades, including carpentry, basic plumbing & wet trades
• Carry out repairs to doors, locks, skirting, architraves, kitchens, flooring and other general property maintenance.
• Diagnose and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
• Work safely and professionally while providing a high level of customer service to tenants.
• Complete all required paperwork and job updates accurately.
