Job summary

Nestlé Purina in Wisbech seeks a multi-skilled Shift Engineer to support reliable manufacturing. You will maintain equipment, lead safety and quality initiatives, and drive improvements across processes in a dynamic team environment.

Applicants should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering, and familiarity with TPM/lean methods. The role includes a 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern and good development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educated to apprenticeship level NVQ 3 or similar in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Experience with maintenance and reliability in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of TPM and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines and perform improvement activities; repair breakdowns.
• Drive safe culture and eliminate workplace risks.
• Ensure products meet quality standards during manufacturing.
• Lead continuous improvements across key operational processes.
• Collaborate with MWG/AWG production teams for ongoing improvements.
