Job summary

Saxon Weald is hiring a Multiskilled Operative for our Internal Repairs Team in Horsham. You will perform a wide range of repairs across trades in customers' homes and residential schemes, delivering high‑quality workmanship and ensuring safe, secure homes.

A driving licence and handheld device use are required to log work and communicate updates. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring tasks, prioritising first-time fix where possible, while maintaining a strong

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in housing or a similar environment.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring).
• Experience completing carpentry or UPVC repairs is desirable.
• Competence in basic plumbing repairs (sinks/toilets).
• Comfort using handheld devices to record work and communicate with systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work in customers' homes and residential schemes.
• Complete repairs efficiently and safely, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit where possible.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure high standards of work.
