Summerhill Services Limited seeks a Grade D Multiskilled Painter/Decorator to join the SSL Estates team based at Hillis Lodge. The role covers painting, decorating, maintenance and minor repair across the SSL Estate property portfolio, with a focus on healthcare premises and safety.

You will prepare surfaces, apply paints and coatings, undertake minor plaster repairs, and carry out basic carpentry and plumbing tasks as part of planned maintenance projects. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years post qualifying relevant experience; good communication skills and flexible attitude to work situations.
• Familiarity with the healthcare sector and HTM awareness is required.
• Recognised CITB/EITB Apprenticeship with City and Guilds qualifications.
• Post Apprenticeship qualifications, formal certificated training in relevant areas.
• Knowledge and appreciation of health and safety issues.

Responsabilités

• Paint, decorate, maintain and repair across the SSL Estate property portfolio.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, varnishes, stains and coatings to internal and external surfaces.
• Undertake minor plaster repairs and surface preparation.
• Carry out minor carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance tasks.
• Support planned preventative maintenance activities and minor works projects.
