Job summary

MTrec's client is recruiting a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in a high-volume FMCG environment. You will maintain and service production and site facilities, perform fault finding, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role operates on a 2-shift pattern (6-2 / 2-10). Candidates should have an ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and be proactive, team-focused, and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Must have ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Mechanically biased/multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer from FMCG/high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Good problem-solving skills; proactive, outgoing and able to work well in a team.
• Join a growing family business with permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and site facility equipment.
• Service production and site facility equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnosis.
• Continual improvement of equipment and processes (CI).
• Ensure repairs meet HS&E requirements and hygiene standards.
• Identify and resolve equipment or material issues promptly.
• Support engineering team on site projects.
