Job summary

IBIS is seeking a maintenance technician to undertake general maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry and decorating within our UK hotels.

You will conduct routine inspections of structures and equipment, perform reactive and preventive maintenance, install and troubleshoot heating and air conditioning systems, and coordinate external contractors while keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC systems).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building compliance standards.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and manage general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, decorating).
• Conduct routine inspections of structures, equipment and assets with minimal guest disruption.
• Install, inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (heating, air conditioning).
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers per service agreements.
