Job summary

AccorInvest UK is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep hotel technical installations running smoothly in Cambridge. You’ll perform general maintenance across plumbing, electrical, heating and carpentry, while ensuring guest areas stay well maintained.

Role involves coordinating contractors, recording repairs, and contributing to safety and energy-saving initiatives. Full-time, 8am-6:30pm, with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undertake and manage various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electricity telecommunications, heat, carpentry and decorating.
• Inspect building structures, equipment and assets performing reactive and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers ensuring they work in relation to service agreements and procedures.
• Install, inspect and troubleshoot equipment, appliances and systems.
• Maintain and replace heating, air conditioning and distribution systems as and when required.
• Assist in record keeping and keep daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, logistics expertise and support for the hotel’s technical installations.
• Ensure guest and back of house areas are well maintained.
• Report stock levels and participate in training to develop area expertise.
