Job summary

Independence Village Plymouth is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs in a part-time role (8:30am-5pm). The job requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and outdoor work in varying weather.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to deliver excellent service and maintain safety standards across our senior living facilities. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting is essential, with strong reading/writing skills for safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.
Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
Maintains a positive Customer Service attitude in interactions with staff and property residents.
