Job summary

Autocraft Solutions Group in Belton/Grantham area is seeking an enthusiastic electrical bias technician with mechanical skills to join a multi-skilled maintenance team. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across site, with a rotation of late and day shifts, and travel between Belton, Grantham and Long Bennington.

The role requires strong PLC, motor and safety control knowledge, fault finding, and the ability to write risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge with PLCs, motor & safety control circuits.
• Understanding & competence with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Ability to balance urgent and important tasks.
• Competent in writing risk assessments & method statements.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Repair production plant, equipment, building infrastructure and site services.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and equipment.
• Installation of new plant or modifications to existing.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance.
• Reporting of all maintenance activities in the CMMS (Agility).
• Working in a safe manner and be proficient with locking out procedures.
