Job summary

Catalent Swindon site is seeking a Production/Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment through planned and reactive maintenance. You will diagnose faults, implement corrective actions, and keep accurate records to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in a relevant field or proven experience.
• Detailed understanding of engineering issues and improvement processes.
• Analytical thinker with ability to assess requirements and select best approach to meet objectives.
• Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels to achieve targets.
• Professional and highly competent on the manufacturing floor and in the office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor engineering equipment to deliver a maintenance schedule and improve reliability.
• Perform maintenance tasks to enhance reliability of equipment.
• Promote working practices with production personnel to improve handling of tooling and equipment.
• Assist with breakdown issues and support engineering solutions and projects as required.
