Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Swindon is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Shift Engineer to operate and maintain utility systems. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvements in a GMP environment.

The role requires experience in HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, chilled water, purified water and related systems, with strong fault-finding and documentation skills. On-site, 2 days/2 nights shift, 4 days off schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or utilities environment with strong fault-finding skills.
• Read engineering drawings and manage technical documentation.
• Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Ability to work on 2 days/2 nights shift and on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation of utility systems and plant equipment.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and prompt breakdown response.
• Drive improvements to maximise equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
• Provide technical input in a GMP environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production teams and contractors on upgrades and projects.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality on site.
