Morgan Ryder is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer for a stress-free maintenance role in Winsford. You will maintain production machinery and site equipment, performing preventative maintenance and breakdown support as part of a dedicated engineering team.

The role emphasizes improving equipment reliability, safety, and compliance, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns in manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding skills in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Continuous improvement mindset and good communication across levels.
• Team player with flexibility and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive Maintenance Excellence: Complete planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Support Site Improvements: Assist with machinery installations and upgrades across the site.
• Promote Safe Working: Ensure all machinery and equipment operate safely and compliantly.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with production teams, stores and contractors.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and performance.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Complete maintenance documentation and report issues per procedures.
• Good Housekeeping: Assist with site maintenance tasks during downtime.
