Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a proactive Maintenance Shift Engineer to support our award-winning resort in Sutton Coldfield. You will handle reactive and preventative maintenance across front-of-house areas and public spaces, ensuring facilities operate smoothly and safely.

Role is 40 hours per week with weekend and evening shifts. You will perform PPM checks, respond to issues, and uphold health, safety and fire safety standards while safeguarding hotel assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to perform preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM checks in all front of house areas.
• Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly compliance checks.
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks in a timely, tidy manner.
• Adhere to H&S, Food Safety and Fire Safety policies.
• Safeguard hotel property and respond to plumbing issues.
