Job summary

Greencore is seeking a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern. You will fault-find, maintain and improve plant equipment to maximise reliability while ensuring food safety compliance.

We welcome engineers with an accredited Level 3 apprenticeship, electrically biased with FMCG/manufacturing experience. In return, Greencore offers a competitive salary and benefits package including pension, life insurance, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating as an engineer with an accredited apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification.
• Electrically biased with maintenance expertise in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing/FMCG is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise reliability and performance.
• Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production time according to given priorities.
• Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure work is carried out correctly and safely.
• Complete all necessary documentation ensuring it is kept accurate and is audit ready.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery.
