Job summary

E3 Recruitment seeks a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a major UK manufacturing group. The role offers a salary up to £55,000 per year, plus a pension match up to 10% and employee benefits.

The position features a 4 on 4 off days pattern and extensive training for career development. Applicants should have mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications and a proven track record in maintenance, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
• Strong health and safety awareness and practices.
• Engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs to keep factories running smoothly.
• Involved in process improvement and implementing better solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs on hydraulic systems, bearings, shafts and conveyors.

Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

• To carry out essential planned engineering maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order.
• Involvement in on-going process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems etc

Qualifications & Experience:

• Applicants must hold a recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship & or; Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics
• Demonstrable knowledge & expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & Equipment.
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
