CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our London maintenance team. You will support plant, equipment and building services across a busy commercial contract.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and collaboration with client teams to uphold high service standards. A strong electrical/mechanical background and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
• Strong manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 236 Part 1-2 or equivalent (17th Edition).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2.
• Ability to fault-find across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• PLC diagnostic or repair capabilities (advantageous).
• Confident supervising contractors and managing safety documentation.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs across building services and site infrastructure.
• Maintain and support FM systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, and emergency systems.
• Complete routine statutory and compliance checks, ensuring work is safe and compliant.
• Respond to faults, diagnose issues and perform first-time fixes where possible.
• Assist with minor plumbing, heating, ventilation, drainage and fabric maintenance tasks.
• Work safely on low-voltage electrical systems, including fault-finding and isolations.
• Use CAFM systems and mobile devices to manage tasks.
• Liaise with client, site teams and contractors to resolve issues and maintain service quality.

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-performing maintenance team in London, supporting plant, equipment and building services across a busy commercial contract.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building services, plant rooms and site infrastructure.
• Maintain and support core FM systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting, small power and general electrical systems.
• Complete routine statutory and compliance checks, ensuring all work is delivered safely and in line with site procedures.
• Respond to building-services faults, diagnose issues quickly and complete first-time fixes where possible.
• Support minor plumbing, heating, ventilation, drainage and fabric maintenance tasks as required.
• Work safely on low-voltage electrical systems, carrying out basic fault-finding, isolations and repairs within competence.
• Use CAFM systems and mobile devices to receive, update and close planned and reactive tasks accurately.
• Liaise with the client, site teams and contractors to resolve maintenance issues and maintain a high standard of service delivery.
• Support permit-to-work processes, risk assessments, method statements and contractor supervision where required.
• Act as a responsible and visible member of the engineering team, supporting wider FM operations and deputising for the Shift Leader when needed.
