Job summary

TEAM is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to keep a busy extrusion operation running in the UK. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment, diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

This permanent role offers a salary of £50,898.93 per year, private healthcare, death in service, enhanced holiday entitlement and training to build technical capability. Working hours are 12-hour day and night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems; hydraulic knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults to minimise production downtime.
• Complete planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Work alongside production and quality teams to support output and product quality.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Support commissioning and continuous improvement activities where required.

What we're looking for in a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification
• Practical electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems, alongside hydraulic knowledge
• A sound understanding of health and safety requirements within manufacturing
• PLC, machinery commissioning or continuous improvement experience would be advantageous
