Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for a building services sector Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and successful maintenance team to work on a large prestigious facility in the Chester area.

We are looking for driven, professional, and multiskilled engineers to assist in Electrical / HVAC maintenance within the estates.

The role is a permanent position paying circa 40k. On call 1 in 4 (£125 plus call out min 4 hours). Working hours are Mon-Fri 6am-3pm & 2pm-11pm.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on AHUs, fan coils, pumps, venting, air conditioning, and associated mechanical plant.
• Maintaining electrical plant, controls, lighting, etc.
• Completing PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
• Providing H&S and compliance engineering support.
• Conducting compliance checks.
• Performing commercial plumbing, leak repairs, fittings, and services work.
• Responding to Helpdesk requests professionally and promptly.
• Supporting other maintenance team members with ad-hoc tasks across disciplines.

Skills & Background Required:

• Recognized professional qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Electrical or Air Conditioning trade).
• Maintenance experience in commercial-sized buildings.
• Presentable and reliable.
• Ability to pass security checks.
• Marine Engineers are welcome to apply.
• Ability to build good relationships internally and externally.
• Strong planning and workload management skills to meet deadlines.
