Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Group in Wakefield, United Kingdom, seeks a skilled Machine Setter to ensure safe, efficient operation of the extrusion cell. You will perform first-line maintenance, fault finding, and changeovers to support reliable production, working with the Operational Team Leader to minimise downtime and maintain output.

Applicants should hold Level 2 Mechanical or Electrical NVQ or equivalent and be able to follow procedures, read plans, and communicate effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Mechanical or Electrical NVQ (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems preferred.
• Comprehensive Equipment, Process and Quality training will be given.
• Ability to assess risk and work safely.
• Demonstrable understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs, fault finding and first-line maintenance activities safely and effectively.
• Ability to follow written company procedures.
• Reliable timekeeping and attendance.
• Ability to work as part of a team & good communication skills
