Job summary

John G Mackintosh is seeking a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer to service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment across client sites. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance to a high standard, and ensure all work aligns with safety policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a recognised HVAC qualification, F-Gas Cat 1, and 18th Edition. A full UK driving licence is essential to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC or Building Services Engineering.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial HVAC, refrigeration and building services equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Respond to reactive maintenance calls and breakdowns across client sites.
• Service, maintain, and repair HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Complete inspections, testing and commissioning activities where required.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
