Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Flagger for an initial four-month temporary contract based in Bury, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across the Borough of Bury.

The successful candidate will carry out flagging, paving, pathways and associated external groundworks across council-owned properties and housing stock, including repairs to surfaces, drainage works and minor masonry, while maintaining high health and safety standards for residents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flagging and groundwork repairs.
• Experience working within social housing or a similar domestic repairs environment.
• Experience with paving, kerbing, drainage or associated external groundworks.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Own hand tools and equipment.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and renewals to flags, paving, paths, steps and other external surfaces.
• Undertake associated groundwork, drainage work and minor masonry repairs.
• Work across occupied residential properties while providing a professional service to residents.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
