Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a FMCG manufacturer for a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role involves providing both electrical and mechanical support across the site, combining hands-on maintenance with continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and optimise performance.

The ideal candidate would be electrically biased or multiskilled and have experience in FMCG or packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or packaging environments.
• Formal qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ/C&G or equivalent).
• Proven track record in similar maintenance roles and CI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment used in FMCG production
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance with a focus on minimising downtime
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations
• Conduct fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Collaborate with operations to optimise plant performance
