Job summary
Michael Page is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias to keep machinery running smoothly in a busy manufacturing setting. You will maintain, repair and improve production equipment while upholding health and safety standards and driving continuous improvement.
The role requires hands-on technical skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering, a practical problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude towards safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent (NVQ/BTEC/Apprenticeship).
- Experience in food manufacturing/FMCG or fast-paced production environments is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Maintain, repair and improve manufacturing equipment to operate safely and efficiently.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Support preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with production to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
