Job summary

Get2Talent, recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing business, seeks a reliable Multi-Skilled Driver / Forklift & Production Operative. The role combines van deliveries, staff transport by minibus, forklift operation and hands-on factory work.

You will drive company vans for deliveries and collections, load and unload, move stock with a counterbalance forklift, support goods-in and warehouse tasks, and assist with filling, labeling and packing. Early starts or later finishes may apply.

Qualifications

• A full, valid UK driving licence and a responsible driving record.
• The appropriate minibus driving entitlement for the vehicle and its use, including D1/PCV where required.
• Forklift experience and a valid recognised counterbalance certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Confidence driving vans, handling goods and working safely.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vans for deliveries, collections and transport between locations.
• Collecting and dropping off staff using the company minibus.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, checking goods and completing delivery paperwork.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift and moving stock around the site.
• Supporting goods-in, dispatch and warehouse organisation.
• Working on filling, labelling, packing and other food-production activities.
• Completing vehicle checks and following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
