Job summary

Eisai is seeking a mechanically biased Building Services Technician to join the Estates Engineering team at the European Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility in Hatfield. You will report to the Estates Engineering Manager and ensure reliable, compliant operation of the estate wide services and equipment serving all business functions across EKC.

The role focuses on planned maintenance of plant and equipment, multi-skilled electrical and mechanical work, and adherence to Safe Systems of Work.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications required.
• BS7671 & C&G 2391 or equivalent essential.
• Full-term mechanical engineering apprenticeship essential.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• ONC/HNC level education desirable.
• Proficient in Windows operating system.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience with domestic and low temperature hot water systems (LTHW).
• Experience with motor controls and relay logic.
• Experience with AHUs, FCUs and chilled water systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours as needed.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
• Experience in controlled environments desirable.
• Water systems and water treatment knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Deliver high standard of mechanical and electrical services across EKC facility.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimise disruption.
• Work within CMMS and BMS for maintenance records.
