Ashbourne Feed Mill is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Engineer for a varied, hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will help ensure reliability and efficiency across site operations while delivering planned and reactive maintenance.

Join a proactive team and contribute to performance improvements, while maintaining safety, compliance, and effective maintenance practices at Ashbourne Feed Mill.

Qualifications

• BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Electrical qualification to 17th Edition standard.
• Mechanical engineering qualification.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Flexible approach with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the feed mill.
• Maintain and support a robust breakdown call-out system to minimise downtime.
• Monitor and report on maintenance performance and KPIs.
• Ensure all pressure systems comply with legal and insurance requirements.
• Support maintenance purchasing and spare parts stock control within budget.
• Manage and maintain the site Permit to Work system.
• Assist in coaching and mentoring colleagues where required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company standards.
• Provide out-of-hours support for breakdowns when required.
