C Cheltenham Peripheral Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a multi-site primary care team near Cheltenham. You will travel between five practices, supporting medicines use, conducting reviews, and contributing to patient safety alongside a team of pharmacists.

Training will be provided through CPPE and NHS England pathways, with opportunities to develop clinical skills and participate in quality improvement initiatives in GP practices and care homes.

Qualifikationen

• Professional registration with GPhC.
• BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Evidence of CPD.

Aufgaben

• Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use.
• Carry out medicines optimisation tasks and medicine reviews.
• Assist in delivery of medicines optimisation schemes and audits.
• Support medication reviews and reconciliations for new care home patients.
• Provide specialist expertise for public health and social care needs of patients.
• Engage in shared care protocols and liaise with specialist pharmacists.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and national prescribing policy implementation.
