Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of educational and residential properties across the North Region, including Bradford. You will lead the estates function, ensuring safe, compliant and well-maintained environments for children and young people.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, you will handle budgets, contractor management and small capital projects while coordinating with school leaders and residential managers to maintain

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing facilities across a multi-site portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and property operations.
• Experience with statutory compliance in commercial or regulated environments.
• Contractor management experience.
• Budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day estates and facilities operations across a multi-site portfolio.
• Develop relationships with school leaders, residential managers and operational teams.
• Conduct site inspections to assess condition, maintenance and compliance.
• Provide advice on maintenance, fabric and engineering services.
• Support contractors and operational teams to resolve property issues promptly.
