Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Part-time Peri Cleaner in Charge to manage cleaning staff across school sites within the city. The role is 20 hours per week, on-site, with duties including stock monitoring, training, and ensuring high cleaning standards.

The starting salary is £25,583 (Level one) rising to £26,403 (Level three) per annum, pro rata for part-time, with benefits including a generous pension and leave entitlement. DBS check required; full training provided.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced check required for this post.
• Full training will be provided to enable you to carry out your role.
• Overtime may be required when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards and exceptional service delivery.
• Monitor absence and time keeping.
• Induction training and refresher training for cleaning staff.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum.
• Clean tables, unit tops and all touch points.
• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Refill consumables, soap, hand towels and toilet roll.
• Empty waste bins.
• Use vacuum cleaners, scrubbers and rotary machines.
• High and low-level dusting.
