Job summary

Spotlight Recruitment in London seeks a Digital Content Editor with strong journalism skills to own day-to-day digital content and drive multimedia storytelling.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days in their Central London office, and includes 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, Xmas week, healthcare and ongoing professional development.

You will write, edit, interview senior professionals, manage content calendars and repurpose content across formats for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in editorial, journalism, content marketing or publishing.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Confidence interviewing senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Experience creating content for websites, newsletters and social channels.
• Basic video and audio editing skills; willingness to develop further.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Creative approach to content development for multi-format delivery.
• Experience targeting B2B, education or professional audiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing and publishing digital content, newsletters and email campaigns.
• Interviewing senior industry professionals and thought leaders.
• Managing content calendars and commissioning external contributors.
• Repurposing webinars, podcasts and long-form content into short-form video, audio and social assets.
• Supporting webinar, podcast and virtual event content production.
• Identifying new content opportunities, formats and audience engagement strategies.
• Working with commercial, marketing and project teams on integrated campaigns.
