Internal Communications Multimedia Content Specialist

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Luton/ Hybrid

Our people are the heart of easyJet – from our frontline teams who are the face of the airline to everyone who supports them in our office locations across our network. Everyone has a part to play in helping us reach our destination of becoming Europe’s most loved airline. The internal communications team plays a key part in shaping employees' experience of working here.

Our primary focus is on engaging our frontline. We know our crew want more visual communications that keep them informed of what’s happening and allows them to recognize the role they play in the success of the airline. This role will help ensure our people are informed, engaged, and feel proud to be part of easyJet.

We’re moving into a new phase for our internal communications strategy and looking to build on our expertise to reinvigorate our existing channels by creating more engaging and accessible content for our audiences. This is a new role in our internal communications team and will play a central part in helping us make that change. You’ll help guide and inspire those you work with and develop content that will bring our channels to life for everyone across the network. We’re looking for a solution-focused team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently in a high-performing team.

What you'll be doing

Join our internal communications team as the multimedia specialist, playing a pivotal role in shaping our channels and content. Collaborate closely with the wider team to plan and produce purposeful mixed media content that enhances understanding of our strategic priorities. Engage with leadership to create visually compelling content aligning with their communication objectives. Take charge of in-house production for live events, elevating both participant and presenter experiences. Foster relationships with key stakeholders across the airline to develop tailored content for our internal audience. Provide valuable guidance to colleagues, enhancing the effectiveness of visual communications through measurement and feedback. Contribute to setting our multimedia content strategy, revitalizing internal channels, and driving engaging communications. Your expertise will be instrumental in amplifying our internal communication impact.

You will be responsible for creating and overseeing the mixed media content calendar, aligning it with internal communication plans. Be responsible for the entire process, from planning to delivering the final mixed media asset. Provide guidance on enhancements based on measurement and stakeholder/audience feedback. Support the deployment of assets across our internal channels and manage the production process with stakeholders. Foster relationships with our in-house studio, ensuring alignment with brand guidance for assets. Additionally, manage relationships with external creative agencies as needed. Your ownership of these processes will be integral to the success of our multimedia content strategy.

Requirements of the Role

What you'll bring to the team

You will bring extensive experience in mixed media production, demonstrating proficiency in planning, creation, and post-production of assets within a dynamic organizational setting. Employ an organized and structured approach to prioritize workloads, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines. Showcase adaptability by working cross-functionally in a matrixed business with multiple stakeholders. Possess hands-on experience in shooting and creating content, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset, fostering curiosity and a willingness to explore new content creation approaches while ensuring stakeholder engagement in this journey. Familiarity with Workplace, Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Stream), and editing tools like Camtasia or others, as well as expertise in platforms such as Vimeo, is essential. Join us in advancing our multimedia production capabilities.

> Up to 20% bonus

> BAYE, SAYE & Performance share schemes

> 5% pension

> Life Assurance

> Flexible benefits package
