Job purpose:
The Multimedia Content Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content for our organization. This role involves recording and editing podcasts and videos that will be published on our website and other channels, as well as creating animations to explain complex topics.
The Multimedia Content Specialist will serve internal stakeholders and ensure consistent quality across all productions. The role requires innovation, best practice implementation across platforms, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work outside normal hours is essential to manage time-sensitive audio and video projects.
The role also includes identifying and managing freelance resources to support peak times or enhance skills.
Principal Accountabilities
- Collaborate with internal clients (communications directors supporting the Foundation, IASB, ISSB, and Funding functions) to understand needs and provide solutions.
- Develop production schedules, manage time effectively, and coordinate freelance technicians to meet demand and skill requirements.
- Design, record, edit, and produce high-quality audio and video content such as podcasts, videos, and webcasts.
- Create animations to illustrate complex topics.
- Ensure all multimedia content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains quality across platforms.
- Optimize content for distribution channels including websites, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcast platforms.
- Plan and manage resources, including equipment, software, and scheduling.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with flexible working hours for time-sensitive content release.
- Maintain organized digital assets, project files, and content archives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Solid experience in audio-visual editing and production.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software.
- Demonstrated ability to create diverse multimedia content.
- Experience in content optimization for multiple platforms.
- Technical knowledge of recording equipment, lighting, and sound.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
