Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver in Beeston for Royal Mail on a temporary basis. You will start at the local delivery office to load and sort deliveries, then use a handheld device for signatures and navigation.

You will deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, potentially walking up to 8 miles daily, while lifting mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg. A full UK manual licence is required and reliability outdoors is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence; max 6 points; licence held for at least 6 months.
• Delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
