Job summary

Pertemps, supporting Royal Mail, is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver in Beeston. This temporary role involves sorting and loading at the local office before delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle.

Shifts run 10:00–18:00 with Mon-Fri hours and weekend availability; you may walk up to eight miles/day and lift bags up to 16 kg. Applicants should have a full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean preferred) and good customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to work independently outdoors.
• Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and locations.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle; walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg; use delivery trolleys when required.
