Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Courier for delivering and collecting parcels across Croydon and the London area. You will drive a 3.5T van, use a handheld scanner, and work Mon-Fri with overtime and Saturdays available. A Class B licence with up to 6 points and multidrop experience are essential.

The role requires good punctuality, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. DBS check and additional vetting apply. This is a great entry into a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Must have full Class B driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Previous multidrop delivery experience is essential.
• Good punctuality and attendance are required.
• Positive working attitude; able to handle heavy lifting when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T company van across Croydon and surrounding areas.
• Safely deliver and collect parcels to/from businesses using a handheld scanner.
• Account for all parcels with scanner checks; maintain accurate records.
• Role may involve heavy lifting and manual handling.

Job Role: Courier

Locations: Croydon

Hours: Mon-Fri between 07:30 -20:00 with overtime and Saturdays available

Pay rate: £16.17 per hour

Your Role:

Working for our internationally renowned logistics client you will be carrying out multi drop deliveries and collections across Croydon and the London Area. You will be trained on how to use the handheld scanner to ensure all parcels are accounted for. There are no costs for van rental and previous experience is essential.

Your Responsibilities:

• Driving 3.5T company van
• Safely delivering/collecting to and from businesses in Croydon, South West London & surrounding areas
• Accounting for all parcels using handheld scanner
• Role can involve heavy lifting and manual handling

You will have:

• a class B license with no more than 6 points
• previous multidrop delivery experience
• a positive working attitude
• good punctuality and attendance
• subject to Basic DBS check and additional vetting (5-year address & work history)
