Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Design Coordinator to drive delivery of engineering design information across multiple projects in Warrington. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, chair coordination meetings and ensure timely design reviews.

The role requires experience with gas industry standards, IGEM and BIM environments, and strong organisation and communication skills. You will support project planning, procurement, and handover activities, working to resolve

Qualifications

• Engineering or construction background.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience with Gas industry standards and GDN specifications.
• Knowledge of IGEM standards.
• Knowledge of G17 and/or G35 specifications.
• Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and design management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across projects.
• Manage design programmes and deliverables and maintain trackers.
• Chair design coordination meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure design reviews and responses to technical queries are on time.
• Manage design changes and revisions; support handover and as-built docs.
• Assist in project planning and procurement activities; ensure design management procedures are followed.
• Resolve design clashes and constructability issues.
