Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Biomedical Scientist to join its Multidisciplinary Blood Science Spoke Laboratory within the Eastern Pathology Alliance at QEHKL. Candidates may be IBMS-accredited or pursuing HCPC registration, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, quality and professional development.

You will contribute to Haematology, Biochemistry, Transfusion and Andrology workflows, supporting safe patient care and delivering high-quality laboratory

Qualifications

• IBMS-accredited degree or actively building HCPC registration portfolio.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality requirements in laboratories.
• Ability to work in a team with good communication and to work unsupervised.
• Familiarity with laboratory computer systems, audits and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Join the Multidisciplinary Blood Science Spoke Laboratory at QEHKL and collaborate across biochemistry, haematology, transfusion and andrology.
• Support delivery of a high-quality, safe healthcare service and act as a role model for PRIDE values.
• Contribute to training and development within the Eastern Pathology Alliance and NNUH sites.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and maintain flexible, proactive learning.
