We are currently looking for a Multi Trade Operative (carpentry, tiling and plastering skills preferable) to join our team in Plymouth.

All work will be in void and tenanted social housing properties in the Plymouth area.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs and other similar tasks.

You will ensure that maintenance or repair works are completed safely and delivered to a high standard, working flexibly, alone or within a team and completing works to required deadlines.

This role does not involve on-call.

Job Type: Full-time, 39 hours per week Monday – Friday (weekend work available)

Location: Plymouth

Duties

• Patch & solid plastering, fit internal plasterboards (inside walls, ceilings)
• General repair and renovations
• Install kitchens & basic carpentry
• Ceramic wall tiling and bathroom splash panelling
• Able to work to industry accepted Health & Safety standards
• Liaise with Supervisors/Schedulers in a timely manner when works are unable to be completed on a first visit/ to deadline, providing detailed information for works to be programmed in

You will need

• Driving Licence (required)
• To be experienced within Bathroom & Kitchen Fitting
• NVQ or to be able to evidence experience
