Job summary

Polite Property Services is seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our property maintenance team in London. The role covers residential and commercial properties, with a focus on reliable, independent problem solving across multiple trades.

You will diagnose faults, carry out quality workmanship in plumbing, carpentry, decorating, tiling and minor electrical tasks, and provide clear updates to property managers. A full UK driving licence and your own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-trade/property maintenance experience.
• Must be a genuine all-rounder – not plumbing-only.
• Able to diagnose faults and work independently without constant supervision.
• Good workmanship and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional with tenants and managers.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Experienced Multi-Trader Wanted

London | £160-£200 per day, depending on experience and ability | Permanent

About the Role

Polite Property Services is looking for an experienced, reliable Multi-Trader to join our growing property maintenance team, carrying out works across residential and commercial properties throughout London.

This is an all-round role. We need someone who is genuinely competent across several trades and can attend jobs independently, identify the problem, complete the work to a good standard and provide clear updates.

The right person should be confident with:

• General plumbing - taps, toilets, wastes, leaks, traps and fault finding
• Carpentry - doors, locks, handles, skirting, boxing-in and general repairs
• Handyman and general property maintenance
• Painting, decorating and making good
• Tiling and silicone works
• Electrical tasks where competent, although electrical qualifications are not essential
• Attending investigative jobs and providing a practical diagnosis of issues such as leaks, damp, mould and condensation

Identifying likely causes of property defects and reporting findings clearly, including ventilation issues, plumbing leaks, water ingress, defective external pointing and other maintenance-related causes
