Job description

Facilities Trade Technician

The facilities team is responsible for the maintenance of the commercial and historical properties of the Rothschild Foundation, including Waddesdon Manor, The Stables, Windmill Hill Archive, The Bow, The Five Arrows Hotel, The Dairy, and various other smaller outbuildings, staff houses, and general infrastructure.

What will you do?

  • Undertake both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds.
  • Carry out routine inspections of all plant, equipment, and machinery to ensure it operates at safe optimum levels.
  • Be aware of current health and safety best practices when carrying out works, and have the ability to conduct dynamic risk assessments before commencing works.
  • Respond to any disaster or emergency situations as they arise.

You will be a great fit if:

  • You havea qualified trade background as plumber or electrician, or multi trade specialism acquired through experience will be considered.
  • You are flexible, adaptable, and able to work in and around the public, and with internal departments.
  • You have knowledge and experience of safe working practices, risk assessment requirements, and Health and Safety legislation would be desirable and training will be given.
  • IPAF, PASMA, LANTRA or equivalent licenses would be preferable.
