Job summary

Haringey Council is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Roofer to join the Repair Service, delivering responsive repairs to the Council’s housing stock on-site in residents’ homes. You will hold core trade qualifications (or equivalent) with roofing experience and at least one other trade, enabling you to tackle jobs that require more than one skill.

The role supports a Right First Time approach and community-focused service. The vacancy is permanent, 36 hours per week, located in Haringey.

Qualifications

• Experienced multi-trade operative with a background in the building and trades industry.
• Hold the appropriate industry standard qualifications, or equivalent recognised competency in one core trade such as roofing.
• Experience in at least one other trade.

Responsibilities

• Tackle repairs requiring expertise across core and additional trades.
• Complete work efficiently to minimise resident appointments and costs.
• Front-line representative of Haringey Council’s repair service in residents' homes and other properties.
