Job summary

VIVID is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Repairs Team in South Hampshire, based at Portsmouth. This full-time, permanent role covers high-quality repairs across social housing properties with 39 hours per week and shifts 8:00–16:30 or 10:00–18:30.

You will participate in the emergency on-call rota as required. You will utilise your carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating skills daily, use handheld devices to manage job tickets, and uphold safety standards while

Qualifications

• Qualified in at least two core trades (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting).
• Experience in multi-trade or general maintenance in occupied homes.
• Proven UPVC repairs and installation experience.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs across several trades in occupied properties.
• Attend jobs as scheduled and ensure first-time quality.
• Use handheld devices to update tickets and progress.
• Maintain van stock, tools and materials.
• Participate in emergency on-call rota.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
