Winner Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join our client in Stratford. The role covers plumbing repairs and wider maintenance across occupied and void properties, with a focus on safe, high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have a strong plumbing background, relevant qualification, full UK driving licence and experience in domestic housing environments. A permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits.

• Proven experience as a Plumber within domestic housing environments.
• Strong plumbing skills and experience carrying out repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working in occupied properties and/or voids.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void residential properties.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs right first time wherever possible.
• Undertaking responsive repairs, void works and remedial maintenance.
• Carrying out associated multi-trade works: carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating.
• Installing, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and fittings.
• Working safely with risk assessments and company procedures.
• Recording job details and materials used using handheld devices.
• Liaising with residents and reporting access issues or safeguarding concerns.
• Identifying and escalating complex or specialist repairs as required.
• Collaborating with other trades to deliver property maintenance contracts.

Salary: Up to £40,660 DOE + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading property maintenance and social housing provider for an experienced

Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join their team in Stratford.

This is a varied role working across occupied and void residential properties, carrying out plumbing repairs alongside a range of associated multi-trade works. The ideal candidate will have a strong plumbing background and be confident carrying out additional repairs and maintenance as required.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out

plumbing and multi-trade repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void residential properties.

Diagnosing plumbing faults and completing repairs right first time wherever possible.

Undertaking responsive repairs, void works and remedial maintenance.

Carrying out associated multi-trade works, including basic carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, decorating and other general repairs.

Installing, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and fittings.

Working safely in line with risk assessments, method statements and company procedures.

Recording job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices/job management systems.

Liaising professionally with residents and reporting any access issues, safeguarding concerns or additional works.

Identifying and escalating complex or specialist repairs where required.

Working alongside other trades to support the successful delivery of property maintenance contracts.

Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.

About You

We're looking for an experienced

Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative with a strong background in domestic property maintenance.

You will ideally have:

Proven experience as a

Plumber within domestic, housing association or social housing environments.

Strong plumbing skills and experience carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance.

Experience working in occupied properties and/or voids.

Good multi-trade skills, with the ability to carry out basic associated repairs.

The ability to diagnose faults and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Experience using handheld devices or job management systems.

Good understanding of Health & Safety, Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness.

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Full UK driving licence.

Relevant plumbing qualification or equivalent practical experience.
