A little bit about the Planned Works team

We're responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out the major improvement works to our customers’ homes including kitchen renewals and bathroom replacements right through to roof replacement and insulation. In addition, our team of Contract Surveyors also specify and implement a variety of special project works throughout the year delivering solutions for more complex issues.

Your new role

We're looking for a Multi Trade Kitchen Fitter, who will be carrying out kitchen replacements to a high standard with an emphasis on delivering an efficient service to Abri customers.

You'll be covering sites across Yeovil, Somerset and surrounding areas and working as a great team player, you'll be carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.

You'll be a good communicator, have an achievement based approach to your work and be motivated. A City & Guilds or NVQ qualification relating to the above trade skills and previous experience is required.

Your day-to-day tasks will include carrying out plumbing and carpentry repairs and kitchen installations to our properties, in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of our customers.

There'll be a further requirement to cover an out of hours service on a rota basis. We’ll provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools. You'll require to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis so a clean driving license is a must!
