What You’ll Be Doing

The role of a multi trade operative involves carrying out a range of customer-focused repairs, maintenance, and improvement works to Greatwell Homes’ tenanted and void properties.

• Undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties, using multiple trades and skills, ensuring work is completed to a high standard. This may include carpentry, plumbing, plastering, wall tiling, general repairs, and other tasks matching your skillset.
• Provide high-quality customer care and maintain communication with customers to keep them informed of work progress.
• Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations, and organisational procedures.

About You

• Experience in a multi-trade or multi-skill role.
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties and dealing with customers, including vulnerable people.
• Proven ability to follow safe systems of work, especially in public areas, and to use personal protective equipment.
• Ability to use handheld digital technology efficiently.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy and awkward items, with reasonable adjustments if needed.
• Knowledge of appropriate trade tools and safe usage methods.
• Full clean UK driving license.
