Job summary

Niyaa People is looking for a Multi Trade Operative in Solihull to join an established social housing contractor on a temporary, ongoing basis. You will carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance, handle basic plumbing, and patch plaster as needed, working in occupied properties across Solihull and nearby areas.

You should hold a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), have your own van and tools, and relevant experience in social housing.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry repairs and general maintenance in social housing environments.
• Ability to carry out basic plumbing tasks and minor plastering work.
• Proven experience working in occupied properties and delivering quality repairs.

This Multi Trade Operative role offers consistent work, an ongoing contract, and the opportunity to start within the next two weeks.

You’ll be working for an established contractor in the Solihull area, known for delivering high-quality responsive repairs across social housing properties. You’ll be part of an experienced team with a reliable workload and long-term stability in your role as a Multi Trade Operative.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Carpenter, Joiner, Property Maintenance Operative or in a similar construction-related role.

As a Multi Trade Operative you will be:
