Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative for Social Housing contracts based in Knowsley. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance in voids and tenanted properties, with a 12-week temporary-to-permanent arrangement.

Duties include kitchen, bathroom and wet room replacements, joinery, plastering, tiling and decorating, requiring NVQ2 or equivalent and a valid UK driving licence. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent).
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs.
• Have, or are willing to have a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements.
• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc.
• Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering.

Multi-Trade Operative Social Housing Contract

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be working on their Social Housing Repairs contracts and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in both voids and tenanted properties. You will mainly working in the Knowsley contracts but will occasionally be working on the Salford contracts. They are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative candidates with experience working on wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements
• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc
• Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering
• Tiling – Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling
• Painting & Decorating

And must also have the below qualities:

Pay rate - £20PH CIS (First 12 weeks) based on a 40 hour week.

Salary after 12 weeks - £34,000 per annum.
