Job summary

Hoop Recruitment LTD is seeking a Multi-Skilled Handyperson to work in Bridgend and surrounding areas, visiting customers in their homes to carry out essential repairs and small adaptations that help older people and those with disabilities stay safe and independent. The role involves a broad range of practical tasks from installing grab rails and minor carpentry to general maintenance and small groundworks.

A full UK driving licence is required; a vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, repairs or a similar trade environment.
• Experience working in housing, local authority or housing association settings is preferred.
• Broad range of practical multi‑trade skills.
• Ability to work respectfully in people’s homes.
• Full UK driving licence and vehicle provided for work.

Responsibilities

• Installing grab rails and minor adaptations.
• Carpentry and general household repairs.
• Minor groundworks, including ramps and steps.
• General property maintenance and repairs.
• Help make homes safer and more accessible.
• Diagnosing issues and finding practical solutions.
